Sidewall Conveyor Belts

Ideal for steep angle conveying, effectively prevents material spillage and improves transport efficiency.

Overview

Sidewall conveyor belts are the ideal solution for inclined material conveying in limited spaces. Designed with a single belt system, they offer cost-effective and efficient operation for handling a wide range of materials. They minimize floor space requirements, eliminate intermediate transfer points, require low maintenance, and provide high conveying capacity.

The unique sidewall design effectively prevents material spillage and enables steep angle conveying, up to 90° vertical transport.

Structure Composition

Sidewall conveyor belts mainly consist of three parts:
·Base Belt
A high-strength standard conveyor belt is used as the base, offering excellent load-bearing capacity and tensile strength.
·Corrugated Sidewalls
Highly elastic corrugated sidewalls are firmly bonded to both sides of the base belt, forming walls that prevent material spillage. Typically, C-type or TC-type sidewalls are used for optimal conveying capacity and self-cleaning. Smaller belts adopt S-type sidewalls, while larger sidewalls are molded for ideal shape retention when conveying high-density materials.
·Cross Cleats
Depending on material characteristics and conveying angles, various shapes and heights of cross cleats are available to further prevent material slippage and enhance conveying volume. Typically made of wear-resistant rubber, the cleats come in various designs and dimensions to meet diverse operational needs.

Maintenance and Care

·Daily Inspection
Inspect surface for damage, joint integrity, belt alignment, and component condition.
·Regular Cleaning
Remove residues and dust regularly.
·Lubrication Maintenance
Lubricate rollers and pulleys periodically.
·Tension Adjustment
Check and adjust belt tension regularly.
·Preventive Maintenance
Replace worn or aged components timely under a preventive plan.

Product Features

Steep Angle Conveying

Sidewall conveyor belts can transport materials at steep angles ranging from 70° to 90°, achieving highly efficient conveying in limited spaces. They are especially suitable for factories, warehouses, and installations where space optimization is critical.

Anti-Spillage

The combination of corrugated sidewalls and cross cleats effectively prevents material spillage and slippage during transportation, ensuring continuous, clean conveying while reducing material loss and maintenance costs.

Versatile Handling

Sidewall conveyor belts are capable of handling powders, granules, lumps, and irregular shapes. They demonstrate outstanding flexibility and are widely used across industries such as mining, metallurgy, building materials, and ports.

Durable & Low Maintenance

Manufactured with high-strength wear-resistant rubber and advanced bonding technology, sidewall conveyor belts offer superior abrasion resistance and longer service life. Continuous single-belt operation reduces failure points, extends maintenance, and lowers costs.
